Delta

On July 24-26, we had a Stewart (my dad's side of the family, like his cousins, etc) Family Reunion in Delta, UT at my great-uncle's "lakehouse"!
I didn't take too many pics, but we had a lot of fun visiting with and meeting family, riding on the boat, tubing, riding the wave runners, playing in the sand, going to a rodeo, and eating lots of really good food!
The view from the dock!
We went to the Hinckley Rodeo. It rained on us just a bit.
Crazy story: during the junior rodeo, a judge broke his leg and was hauled off in an ambulance. It was during the barrel racing, and a girls's horse went around the first barrel, but instead of heading to the next barrel, it headed straight for the 2 judges standing by the time radars. The horse plowed into one man, who tumbled into the other man and both ended up rolling on the ground. One was okay, but the one who actually got plummeted by the horse broke his leg. Some of his family were sitting in front of us, and they said the paramedics had to cut off his brand new cowboy boot, and that he was more upset about that than his leg ;)
Pretty sunset!

After 10 seconds of being on a wave runner, Richard was addicted! They are so fun! I also love riding in the boat while watching people get pulled behind it!
My mom loves tubing! My dad also tubed and was given some crazy rides--by watching him you'd never guess he's in his 50's ;)
Richard braving the waves!

swimming lessons

Kinzie's 1st year of swimming lessons! We did them at the Rec Center, and I can honestly say it helped!! She used to be so scared of water and swimming, and now she loves water and is a little fish. She still hates to bob and put her head under water, but she made a lot of progress and is now comfortable around/in water!! It's a good start!!

Kinzie's 1st day of swimming lessons!

Her teacher's name was Lindsey. She had 3 other boys in her class (who were not there yet when I took the pic...these kids shown are in the other preschool advanced class) which she said was "so dumb"! She really wanted a girl to be in her class...maybe next year;)
I think she enjoyed it!!
(Every morning she would tell me she didn't want to go, but then every day afterward she would tell me "swimming lessons was so much fun today!"

Grandma braided her hair:)
I love my little swimmer!
