August 1 & 2 we headed to Roy, UT (where Richard was raised) for Roy Days! It was my first time ever going, but Richard had told me lots about it! Friday night we went to a big BBQ picnic at the park. Saturday morning we met up with his high school friends, Mark and Aleisha, and watched the parade with them and their kids! Kinzie and their daughter Emily are about the same age so they had a lot of fun!

| Candy! At first Cayden was content just chilling on daddy's lap, but after awhile he decided he wanted to go get candy too! But when he ran out to grab some, a float with water guns/buckets was going by, and this kid drenched Cayden with a bucket of water just as he was bending down to get his candy. It seriously knocked him over onto his bum and scared/startled him! The boy who threw the water felt bad and came over to apologize with a handful of suckers for him! However, after that, Cayden was no longer interested in trying to get candy ;) |

After the parade and the babies had naps, we all went to McDonald's for lunch, then to the park where they had vendors, rides, food, etc! Kinzie and her new friend Emily had fun playing in this bouncy-house there (this was Kinzie's first time in a bouncy-house)!
We didn't stay for the fireworks that night...maybe next time!
