Christmas 2014

Christmas came and went so quickly. The kids were at such a fun age to be able to really enjoy all the festivities!
Kinzie putting the star on the tree! We put our tree up at the beginning of November!

Kinzie built this tower out of ribbons and bows all by herself and was so proud of it!

CHRISTMAS EVE! first ever matching pj's!

SANTA  CAME!

Singing Let it Go with her frozen microphone!

new Cars cup!

Firestation Set!

Let's build a Fort!!

Looks thrilled, doesn't he?!?!?

We can't wait for the weather to get nice and warm so we can go on lots of wagon rides!

Richard got a big gun safe! In this picture he's filling up his new Playmate Lunchbox with all of his new drinks!
I got a new credit card holder filled with a bunch of different gift cards!! Awesome Gift!!

We had a very Merry Christmas!!
It was a very snowy Christmas Day, but we still managed to make it out to Arbon for Christmas Dinner and to skype with my brother Challis!

Preschool Christmas party

This girl loves to help me bake sugar cookies! We made some Christmas ones for her preschool party!

We took a variety of treats to share with all of our friends!!

not a great pic--but here's the crew, minus Brayden.

The Treat Exchange! So many yummy snacks!!

This was the present Kinzie got from Allie, and we got to buy one for Emberlee!
We also played charades, pin the nose on the snowman, Christmas scramble, and made a craft!!

Dance Preview

The first weekend in December Kinzie had a dance preview where all the classes get to perform what they've been learning. Nothing by then is perfected, but it's fun to watch! It was at the Festival of Trees place, so we had fun looking at cool trees, gingerbread houses, and Mr. and Mrs. Clause afterward!
She was so nervous but did good and her class was so cute to watch! They danced to the Olaf song from Frozen
 "In Summer"!

He's B-A-C-K!

On December 1st, after dinner, there was a knock at the door. We opened it only to find nobody there....but there was a present! It read, "To Kinzie and Cayden, From Santa"! They were ecstatic! They opened it up to find 2 chocolate calendars and...Eddie the Elf!!! Such a fun night!!

One day we caught him drinking our hot cocoa mix!

One day he was on the high chair reading a book with his new pal, Snowman!
And on his last day here (christmas eve), he showed up that morning in a sled with a shovel and a good-bye note! How nice of him to bring us some new fun gifts!!
The kiddos sure had fun trying to find him each day! Luckily, he wasn't too mischievous this year ;)
Grandma Sheri came over one day and brought some kits to make a gingerbread house!
Grandma's masterpiece!

Kinzie's masterpiece!

Anniversary Trip

Our 6th anniversary was on November 21, 2014. We decided to celebrate with the kiddos and take a little family vacay to Provo for the Lighting of the Riverwoods!!
First we had lunch at Tucanos!! Sure love that place--yum!!

The second day we were there we went bowling at BYU! Sure do miss that campus.

The first night we were there we went to the Lighting of the Riverwoods!

Cayden bundled up in his new hat and coat!

They had free sleigh rides...but the line was sooo long......

....so we talked the kids into going on this horse instead--which they loved!! Not to mention it was inside rather than outside, so it was much warmer!

Kinzie didn't want to try the horse...she just liked the bench!

They also had free hot cocoa, entertainment, and Santa! but the line for Santa was huge, so we convinced them we'd go see Santa at the mall when we got home (again, where it's inside and much warmer!)
It was fun to get away, especially to our old stomping grounds! We ate at some of our favorite restaurants (Burger Supreme, Sub Zero, Spaghetti Factory) that we miss and the kids really enjoyed the hotel stay!
On the way home we stopped by Cabella's--Richard and the kids love that place!
Can't believe we've been married 6 years already, but this was definitely a fun way to celebrate!

First snowfall of the year!

This was middle of November 2014. Big white fluffy snowflakes fell gently from the sky for the first time this year! Luckily we had nowhere to go that day, so we got to sip hot cocoa by the window as we watched it fall from the sky! I would have been content just doing that all day...but these cute munchkins had other plans! They begged and begged to go outside!

This kid needs to gain just a bit more weight ;)

Preschool Halloween Party

Kinzie and her 5 little preschool friends had a fun Halloween party!
There was a mummy, scarecrow, dinosaur, m&m, Doc McStuffins, and Minnie!

And 2 little siblings joined as well--a chicken and Mickey!

A Costume Parade!!

They read a fun interactive story!

Won cupcake cones doing the cake walk!

A scary witch even flew in and made some brew! (Kinzie was so freaked out!)
And what's a party without yummy treats! One of the moms made all of these-she's so ambitious and creative!

They also did a monster craft, stuck their hands in sensory boxes (spaghetti as brains, etc.), and got goody bags!!
