Easter Sunday!

What a lovely Easter we had! We woke up and found our goodies that the Easter Bunny brought us...Kinzie was so excited and had so much fun exploring the items in her basket. Then we went to Arbon and attended church with my family where my mom taught an amazing RS lesson and we were reminded of the REAL meaning of Easter! We spent the rest of the Sunday at my parent's house where we had dinner, played games, relaxed, and just enjoyed family time!

The EGG hunt!

On Saturday, April 7th, we had our Annual Stewart Family Easter Dinner! It was delicious and fun, as usual! Afterward, we had an Easter Egg Hunt for the little kiddos!  The eggs were hidden in the yard and the driveway...so we had lots of ground to cover:)  Kinzie has loved playing with plastic eggs ever since I got out our Easter decorations, so this was fun for her this year!!
I love the background in this picture...you can see cows, grain bins, farm equipment...this is where I grew up my whole life and OH How I Love It Here!!

Look at her stash of eggs! You Go Girl:)

Kinzie loves this bridge that goes over the creek! She likes to look at the water from one end of the bridge, then go to the other side of the bridge and look at the water...back and forth, back and forth. silly girl!

Later that evening, she crashed on the floor with Uncle Tyce! It was so cute! She doesn't usually just lay on the floor...she has too much energy for that and is always going and going...so this shows how exhausted she was! HA. Then she decided she needed to share her goldfish snack with Uncle Tyce. It was hilarious--she sat there and fed him fish after fish...forever! He's such a good sport and a great Uncle!
(the carrot on the floor is made of goldfish and is the Easter treat I gave out this year...it was a Pinterest idea!)

Kinzie's Birthday PARTY!!

Welcome to Kinzie's 1 year old Minnie Mouse Party!!
This was a fun idea I got off of Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/pin/201676889533343754/)--minnie mouse cupcakes!! (I tried putting pink bows on them, but I failed. Luckily, when my very artistic bro Tyce showed up...he used some pink frosting to make some pretty bows on each cupcake right in between the ears! I forgot to get a picture of them after they had bows on,but seriously, they were so adorable. Sorry though, you only get to see mickey mouse cupcakes. ha ha)

For all of our many friends and family that came, we served a light dinner of soup (creamy potato, chicken noodle, or broccoli cheese), rolls, and cowboy caviar (salsa/black bean dip)!
Her Minnie Mouse Balloon!

Her stash of gifts....can you say SPOILEd and LOVED!?!?!?

She got this fun suitcase bag from Grandma Sheri! It was filled with more presents! Now she has something to use when she goes to sleep at Grandma's!!

This was from Great Grandma Stewart! She knew just what to get her...Kinzie loves books!!

Uncle Challis gave her this little princess camping chair! She loves it! We have it set up in our living room and she likes to sit and play in it...it's fun to watch her turn around in it and point to the princesses!

Her big present from Mommy and Daddy was so big that the cousins and friends had to help open it:)

It's a ride-on toy that makes noise, plays music, the princesses in the front spin around, etc. She loves to honk the horn and press the little piano keys on it. Her favorite though is when she sits on it...lifts her legs off the ground...and daddy pushes her really fast on it!!!!!

This was her present from Grandma Arlene. It was a HUGE bag. So big that when we set it on it's side, she started scooting inside of it to go get the present...it was so funny/cute! She just kinda disappeared inside of it!

And what was in that huge bag? a HUGE princess ball!!

Someone asked her, "Where's daddy?" And she pointed to him (he was taking the pics)!!

After opening all those presents, we were all hungry for...cake and ice cream!! My mom made this cake for Kinzie to eat and devour and destroy!!

She is so obsessed with fire and candles...not sure that's such a good thing. ha ha

This is her "stop taking pictures and let me EAT MY CAKE" face!

Yummy!

My mom made this Minnie Mouse cake for everyone else to eat (sorry, we didn't get a better shot of it from up above..but it turned out way cute)! We just wanted a picture of Kinz with it...but she thought it was another one to dig into. Close Call. phew.

Love the eyes! messy mouth and messy hands...but that was about as bad as it got! Oh my sweet little dainty girl;)

We got her cleaned up and into her pajamas, then she played with her new toys with cousin Parker while we cleaned up!

The party was a SUCCESS!! Thanks to all of you who love and spoil her rotten!!
Hope you had a very Happy 1st Birthday Kinzie Coo!
