4th of July weekend

We went camping in Arbon July 1-5 for the Gene Stewart Family Reunion! My grandparents, my dad, and all of his siblings and their families were able to come!
We ditched out on camping on the 4th though to take the kiddos to the parade! That night up at camping we had a fun firework show!

Happy 4th of July!!

The kids enjoyed the parade! We met up there with my cousin from Kansas and her family as well as some family friends we hadn't seen in awhile!
Kinzie enjoyed waving! They would throw the candy and it would land all around her feet, but rather than pick it up, she just kept on waving and smiling at them! It was cute:)
On the 5th, we took the canoes to Hawkins Reservoir and played in the water for a few hours!

Skylar, Tyce, and my dad had a canoe war! Tyce was the first one out. That's him in the water, Skylar's on the left, and dad is on the right.
Then skylar and my dad went at it. (sky's on right, dad's on left). Skylar was just about to lose when he hurt his toe and called it quits....so my dad was the winner!! It was pretty entertaining!

First Visit to the Dentist!

Richard's work finally decided to offer dental insurance, so on June 26 I took the kids to their first Dentist Visit! Kinzie had been anticipating it for awhile and was so excited to go! I took them to Dentistry for Kids here in Pocatello! A fun office with a wonderful and kind staff! We were all impressed!
She was so cute and kept asking/saying the cutest and funniest things to the hygienist and dentist! She won over the hearts of everyone there! Other hygienists kept coming over to see her saying, "I just had to come peek at her, she is such a cutie! and look how good she is being!" Everyone was surprised it was her first time, because she was so relaxed and seemed like a pro! She acted so grown up!
Lucky for her, she gets to go back soon. Unlucky for us, she has 2 cavities that need to be filled. Obviously she takes after her daddy (I still to this day have never had a cavity!).

She kept saying that this "blanket is too big on me!"
These glasses had little animal pictures on the sides and she was so intrigued.
Feeling the air on her arm!
Getting the "itchies" out of her mouth!
The hygienist told her she was going to go find the dentist...when the dentist came over she was waiting for him like this--mouth wide open! His comment was, "wow, she is definitely ready for me!"
Caydo even enjoyed it. The hygienist told me the dentist would just have me hold him on my lap and lie him down, and that he might fuss, but that's ok. Then the dentist told me to just lie him on the bed but kinda hold on to him so he doesn't fall off, and that he might fuss, but that's normal. Well, I lied him down, he looked up at the dentist, opened his mouth just like kinzie did, and even let the dentist put his fingers and fluoride in his mouth (he doesn't even let me put my fingers in his mouth). Didn't fuss once and was in no hurry to get off that bed! love my little dude!
Afterward, she got to pick a toy!
There were way too many toys to choose from:)
