BYU WALK

In August, we were in Provo for a weekend so we of course had to take a BYU Walk!! This was Kinzie's first time on BYU campus:)

ya, she was a bit curious of what that camera was and she was determined to find out

When Richard and I were dating, BYU walks were kinda our tradition...we went on one almost every Sunday that we got the chance (when weather was good). One of our favorite spots was the waterfall/pool by the new Smith building, and I believe it's now Kinzie's favorite spot too!

She loves water! Bath time is probably her favorite time of the day:) So soaking her feet in this pool was the highlight of her day!

Big Smile:)

She is also very intrigued by bubbles, and this pool was full of them. She loved reaching out and trying to grab the bubbles....it was soooo cute! I love how curious their little minds are as they discover the world!
It was so nice to be back on BYU campus! I love it's environment, it's beauty, and the Spirit that is felt there! It was very exciting to be there as a FAMILY, and I'm pretty sure it was just the beginning of our "family memories at BYU". Can't wait to go again!

Girls Camp 2011

Girls Camp was at Camp Cumorah this year. I only went up to camp for 1 day and took Kinzie with me! We had a blast--and Kinzie thinks she's "just one of the girls"!!

For the service project, all the girls made card kits to deliver to people (like the elderly) in their wards! Here are our girls cutting away:)

Here are the finished card kits--they turned out sooo cute!
I thought this was such a cute idea: they had evelopes hanging up for every girl from every ward, and the girls could write notes to each other and stick them in the envelopes!

For our devotional, our girls practiced sooo hard and for many hours!! They performed the HAKA from the movie Forever Strong. They did such a fantastic job:)

They also sang a song as part of their devotional.

(Each ward made/decorated a surf board, which is in the background--they turned out really cute)

And at the end of the day....she was tuckered out!!!

I love being in the Young Women's Program and interacting with the Youth--I learn so much from them and enjoy their personalities! It was super fun to get to spend time at camp with the girls and get to know them better--Girls Camp always brings out your true self! HA.

New Bikes & baby food

Richard and I decided we needed a new hobby/exercise, so we invested in some bikes this summer. We love going on family bike rides--it's been a lot of fun and Kinzie absolutely loves it!

Richard and the salesman attaching them to the car rack!
To make it a little more safe for Kinzie, Richard rigged this up and somehow got the seat strapped into the trailer, so Kinzie rides in her carseat in her trailer:)
Here's my pretty purple bike!!

I spent an afternoon with my cousin Marie learning to make baby food. She never buys any...her baby only has had homemade baby food. It's super easy and sooo much cheaper, so I thought I'd give it a try:)

peaches, plums, carrots, beans

baby food in the making:)

While there, Kinzie got to try out her cousin's bouncy toy-thing. She loved it and kept herself entertained while we made baby food. It's always fun to play with "new" toys/stuff!
