Finally, after 5 years...

On March 7, 2015, Richard "graduated" from his Electrician apprenticeship program! He completed it through the IBEW and is now a Journeyman Electrician! It was a 5 year program of schooling and work. He was able to work with a few different companies and journeymen throughout the years and is grateful for the education and experience he received!

It's official!!

The "graduation" was more or less just a "completion dinner". They provided a dinner for the graduates and their families and then had a little awards ceremony! Richard is the one on the far right. There was a boy I graduated high school with who also graduated with Richard that night...so that was fun to know someone else in the group too!

It's a ......!!!

On December 29th, we had an ultrasound to find out the gender!
This was the day before....boy or girl???

IT'S A GIRL!!
ps. it's a lot harder than it looks to get a 1 and 3 year old to throw/blow glitter in the air.

To announce it to the kiddos, I made white playdoh the night before--2 with red dye in the middle and 2 with blue dye in the middle. We ended up throwing the blue ones away and they got to play with the pink!

As they play with and smash it, the white playdoh is supposed to turn pink--it kinda worked! But they got the idea--and Kinzie was so happy (she REALLY wanted a baby sister)!

Another attempt! We ended up using pink confetti because the glitter just wasn't working out real well ;)

We are all very excited! Richard was so determined and convinced that it was going to be a boy--so he was in a bit of shock and I think it took a day or so for it to really sink in. In fact, when the tech wrote "girl" on the screen, Richard replied with "Really? are you sure?" HA! But now he's thrilled and anxiously awaiting her arrival!
The ultrasound showed our due date as May 29, 2015!

I got a new credit card holder filled with a bunch of different gift cards!! Awesome Gift!!

We had a very Merry Christmas!!
It was a very snowy Christmas Day, but we still managed to make it out to Arbon for Christmas Dinner and to skype with my brother Challis!

Preschool Christmas party

This girl loves to help me bake sugar cookies! We made some Christmas ones for her preschool party!

We took a variety of treats to share with all of our friends!!

not a great pic--but here's the crew, minus Brayden.

The Treat Exchange! So many yummy snacks!!

This was the present Kinzie got from Allie, and we got to buy one for Emberlee!
We also played charades, pin the nose on the snowman, Christmas scramble, and made a craft!!

Dance Preview

The first weekend in December Kinzie had a dance preview where all the classes get to perform what they've been learning. Nothing by then is perfected, but it's fun to watch! It was at the Festival of Trees place, so we had fun looking at cool trees, gingerbread houses, and Mr. and Mrs. Clause afterward!
She was so nervous but did good and her class was so cute to watch! They danced to the Olaf song from Frozen
 "In Summer"!
