Our 6th anniversary was on November 21, 2014. We decided to celebrate with the kiddos and take a little family vacay to Provo for the Lighting of the Riverwoods!!
First we had lunch at Tucanos!! Sure love that place--yum!! |
The second day we were there we went bowling at BYU! Sure do miss that campus. |
The first night we were there we went to the Lighting of the Riverwoods!
Cayden bundled up in his new hat and coat! |
They had free sleigh rides...but the line was sooo long...... |
....so we talked the kids into going on this horse instead--which they loved!! Not to mention it was inside rather than outside, so it was much warmer! |
Kinzie didn't want to try the horse...she just liked the bench! |
They also had free hot cocoa, entertainment, and Santa! but the line for Santa was huge, so we convinced them we'd go see Santa at the mall when we got home (again, where it's inside and much warmer!)
It was fun to get away, especially to our old stomping grounds! We ate at some of our favorite restaurants (Burger Supreme, Sub Zero, Spaghetti Factory) that we miss and the kids really enjoyed the hotel stay!
On the way home we stopped by Cabella's--Richard and the kids love that place!
Can't believe we've been married 6 years already, but this was definitely a fun way to celebrate!
