Life has taken a turn for the busy road!
*School has started again, so I'm now in my 3rd year of teaching!! This year I only have 21 students compared to the 29 I had last year...sooooooo nice!! It makes a huge difference having a smaller class! And each year, of course, presents me with a new challenge. This year, it's a boy in my class who has ADHD and is bi-polar, and he is on medication for both, but it's not really working. I have to constantly keep him on task and focused...he requires as much attention as about 10 students combined. On a positive note...I'm learning lots of patience!!
*I recently received a calling in my new ward as a Miamaid Advisor in the Young Womens!! They seem like a fun bunch of girls and I can't wait to get to know them better!!
*Richard is playing on a city league softball team and has 2 games every week! He is awesome at softball and last week he hit a HoMe RuN!!!!
*My brother Challis is playing football on his high school J.V. and Varsity teams, so we've been attending his games and supporting him!!
*Skylar returned from his LDS mission in San Diego, CA on August 3, 2010. Wow, that 2 years went by super fast!
*There was a huge fire in Arbon Valley (my home town) and it got as close as 1200 ft. to my parent's home (the home I grew up in). That was scary!
*We have two extra bedrooms that we've been using as storage/junk, but we've been trying to clean them out and turn them into a baby's room and a guest room/food storage. That's been quite a task!! So we bought shelves for our garage and have been doing lots of organizing!!!
*I've had a cold for the past week, and now I'm just trying to get over the nasty cough that always follows!! It's miserable when there's not much you can take due to being prego!
*Last week was the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, ID! I won us free tickets to the rodeo, so that was fun!!
*Tomorrow we find out if we have a big strong FOOTBALL PLAYER or a sweet little BALLERINA growing inside of me! Super Excited!!
