Stewart Reunion 2010 in Jackson Hole

On July 23-25, we had a Family Reunion on my dad's side, which included his siblings, cousins, and aunts/uncles. This year it was held in Jackson Hole, WY.

We had dinner at a yummy Mexican Restaurant called The Merry Piglets!
Very cute atmosphere!

We went to the Playhouse Theater and watched the play Annie Get Your Gun!!

We went to Jenny Lake in the National Teton Park. We rode a boat shuttle to the other side of the lake. Here's the boat!
Mom and Dad on the boat!
Challis on the boat!

Waiting in line to buy our tickets for the boat!

Jenny Lake: so beautiful!!!

Teton Mountains!

On the other side of the lake, we hiked up to the Hidden Falls, and this is half way up the trail at the bottom of the Hidden Falls.

pretty!

ME!

The Hidden Falls. It's an 80 ft. waterfall! The hike was hot, but the temperature up there was so cool and refreshing!!

Not a very good pic of us, but the only one we got in front of the Hidden Falls!

Richard and I on the boat ride back!

Then we went to the Snow King Resort, which is a ski hill during the winter. During the summer they have miniature golf and the Alpine Slide. For the Alpine Slide, you ride the ski lift up to the top of the hill, then ride carts down!

Here's Richard getting on the ski lift!

And my brother Challis and cousin Aaron.

The ski lift!

Richard coming down the slide!

He made it safe and sound, and loved it too!!

Here's my brother coming down!
The miniature golf course started on the right of the slide, went over the bridge that goes over the slide, then finishes on the left side of the slide.
Also while in Jackson, we swam at the hotel outdoor pool, went to the Bar J Wranglers, had a big family picnic in the park, ate lots of food, and shopped!!

Camping 2010

My family took our annual Stewart Family Camping Trip in July! It's our little family owned campground in Arbon. It's actually where my grandpa was born...his family once had a house there on that piece of land, so he feels right at home there when we camp:)

This year our group consisted of me, Richard, my mom and dad, brother Challis, cousin Aaron, Aunt Vickie and Uncle Joe, Grandma and Grandpa. Also, each family brought their dog, so we also had Buffy, Dukie, and Tessa!

Between my dad, Richard, and Challis, we always had a big hot nice fire when we needed one!!

The campsite and Tessa!!
Tessa loves camping. Some of the days my dad wouldn't take her up, and as he'd pull out of the drive way, she'd be standing there whining. When he'd go back the next day and go into the house, he'd come out to leave and she'd be in the truck ready to go, and then refuse to get out!

pretty sky! I was so glad Richard caught these pics!

Super Fun Trip! Wasn't sure how I'd handle it being prego and all, but I survived and did great!! We ate lots of great food...too much really, and played fun games. I think the funnest game this year was a new one my aunt brought. It's called Phase 10 Twist! Super Fun!!
A couple of the days were really windy and chilly, but the last few days were super hot and great camping weather!!

Early Ultrasound!

Here's our little baby at 9 weeks! It's head is on the right and it's rump is on the left, and you can see the legs are just beginning to form! It's just a little over an inch long and heartbeat=171. We even got to see the little dude or dudette move (the tech said it looked like it was arching it's back)! Super Cool!!
Sorry it's a little blurry. It's a picture of a picture.

Baby Outfits!!

When we first told my mom we were pregnant, she was so thrilled. This will be her first grandchild. One of the first things she said was "I have to go shopping". My dad said, "Can't you wait til we find out if it's a boy or girl?" She said no, and she wasn't kidding.

For Father's Day, she bought Richard some Boy AND Girl outfits!! She gave us the receipts so we can take back the ones we don't need (but they're all so cute I don't want to have to take any back)!!!!

Look at the hat...so cute!

My dad is super excited too! And deep down, I think he's glad she started shopping already, because he enjoyed the outfits as much as the rest of us!!! ha ha

a HE or a SHE?!?!?!?!.......

We'll Have To Wait And See!!
Richard and I are expecting our first little baby on February 16th!! We are super excited!!

This was how we announced it to our moms. We gave them this card with the poem and pregnancy test inside!!

Very cute poem (sorry it's sideways)

Richard had fun taking the picture with different backgrounds. If it's a boy, we'll put the top one in the scrapbook, and if it's a girl, we'll put the bottom one in the scrapbook!!

To tell my dad, we gave him a HERSHEY'S candy bar, with the R and Y'S covered with blue and pink paper (so it read HE SHE), and then below it we wrote "We'll have to wait and see"!! For everyone else, we made cupcakes and frosted one half blue and the other half pink on each one, then using mini m&m's we made a plus sign on each one. When we delivered the cupcakes, we'd say, "We brought you a treat, but you have to look closely cuz there's a message on there." It was so fun to watch their wheels turn as they tried to figure it out, for most of them didn't get it right away. SUPER FUN!!
